About the function space
The Eureka Hotel is ideally situated on Church Street at the intersection of three major tram routes (12, 78 and 109), and is a short distance from Richmond’s many train stations.
The Eureka Room suits a wide array of events and functions. Mingle at the bar and then hit the dance floor! The perfect event space for your next birthday, bucks/hens, engagement party, trivia night, cabaret theatre events.. The list is endless!
Curtains and screens can be used to alter the layout and size of the room to suit your event. Any number of people can occupy the Eureka Room and be guaranteed an intimate memorable event.
The room also boasts a private bar, state of the art AV system, 16 x Digital LED lights controlled via LUMINAIR iPad app, large stage, and a modern fresh interior.
Adjoining the room is a commercial sized kitchen with a dedicated team of chefs keen to provide the perfect catering for your event. From stylish canapés to a tailored sit down dining menu, we can’t wait to share our passion for food and drinks with you.
Assistance from an in house team of event coordinators means that your event will be organised and managed with the highest standard of professionalism, and that you are free to relax and entertain in style.

The Eureka Room was originally built back in the 60′s and hosted a wide array of bands in its time. It was then converted to a theatre restaurant which successfully ran for over 20 years.
